Be Still (Here)

One of the inherent difficulties in attempting to understand Biblical prophecy regarding the resurrection and removal of the Church, is that it is essentially a pass/fail examination. All those attempting to identify the time of our redemption will have a 100% failure rate, until they succeed. Past attempts to understand don't necessary mean that future attempts will also fail (although this is very likely). This requires great patience on the part of the Saints.

We have now passed through the entire fall Festival season of 2020, and are still here. While disappointing, this is not entirely surprising. That said, the previously published prospective timeline for the Final Jubilee is still valid. The original concept that the remaining festivals would be fulfilled sequentially to satisfy the requirements of Daniel's vision is still a possibility. In this case, the final Festival of Trumpets would occur at the beginning of the Final Jubilee, the final Day of Atonement would occur at the end of the Final Jubilee, and the Festival of Tabernacles would be celebrated throughout the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. The timeline remains (all hyphenated dates are from sunset to sunset):

9/17/2020 New Moon in Jerusalem and beginning of Festival of Trumpets and 10 days of awe

+9-10 days =

9/26-27/2020 Beginning of Final Jubilee marked by "The Return" event in Washington D.C.

+30 days =

10/26-27/2020 Beginning of Two Witnesses' ministry

+1260 days =

4/8-9/2024 Death of Two Witnesses, beginning of Abomination of Desolation, and second Great American Eclipse

+1250 days (shortened by 10 days per Matthew 24:22 due to Final Jubilee) =

9/10-11/2027 final Day of Atonement, and Second Coming of Jesus Christ on the anniversary of Jesus' birth in 3 B.C.

+75 days

11/24-25/2027 rededication of the Third Temple, and first Festival of Tabernacles of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ.

Other researchers have independently confirmed the possibility that 2020 marks the beginning of a Jubilee observance. As previously discussed, the creators of the Torah Calendar website acknowledge that Rosh Hashanah (or the Civil New Year) actually began on the Day of Atonement in 2020, not on the Day of Trumpets. Others have speculated whether Rosh Hashanah 2020 may have marked the beginning of the war in heaven described in Revelation 12 (NIV):

7 "Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. 8 But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. 9 The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him."

To review, in Daniel chapter 10 we read (NIV):

12 "Then he continued, 'Do not be afraid, Daniel. Since the first day that you set your mind to gain understanding and to humble yourself before your God, your words were heard, and I have come in response to them. 13 But the prince of the Persian kingdom resisted me twenty-one days. Then Michael, one of the chief princes, came to help me, because I was detained there with the king of Persia. 14 Now I have come to explain to you what will happen to your people in the future, for the vision concerns a time yet to come.'"

In a previous post it was found that by adding 21 days to the beginning of the Festival of Trumpets, we would arrive at the Festival of Tabernacles. However, perhaps we should instead count forward from the end of the Festival of Trumpets. In the time leading to a jubilee observance, this would be 9 days later at sunset (or the usual time for the Day of Atonement). Adding 21 days to September 26-27th, 2020 arrives at October 17-18th.

If both 10/17-28/2020 and 10/26-27/2020 pass uneventfully, the entire concept will have to be scrapped.

As before, we watch and wait ...
