Harvest Moon

Every year after the Autumnal Equinox two named full moons occur. These are the "Harvest" and "Hunter's" moons. This year the Autumnal Equinox occurred on September 22nd. The Harvest moon will occur on October 1st, and the Hunter's moon will occur on October 31st (Halloween). The Hunter's moon will also be a "Blue moon", because it is the second full moon within a single calendar month. More information on this topic can be found at:

In the last post, the possible significance of the end of September was discussed due to it falling 3.5 days after the beginning of the Final Jubilee. It is notable that (intentionally or not), the beginning of the Final Jubilee was proclaimed in Washington D.C. on September 26th:

This year's Harvest moon occurs right at the transition point between the end of September and the beginning of October. If the prospective timeline for the Final Jubilee holds, we expect the Two Witnesses' ministry to begin near the end of October (October 26-27th). Precisely 1260 days later, the beginning of the Abomination of Desolation would occur on April 8, 2024 (coinciding with the second Great American Eclipse). Recall from 2 Thessalonians chapter 2 that the antichrist will not be revealed until after the Harvest of the Church (NIV):

3 "Don’t let anyone deceive you in any way, for that day will not come until the [apostasia] occurs and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the man doomed to destruction. 4 He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God’s temple, proclaiming himself to be God.

5 Don’t you remember that when I was with you I used to tell you these things? 6 And now you know what is holding him back, so that he may be revealed at the proper time. 7 For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way. 8 And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will overthrow with the breath of his mouth and destroy by the splendor of his coming."

In Revelation chapter 6, the "man of lawlessness" is described as the first seal of the title deed is opened (NIV):

"I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!”2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest."

This description calls to mind the figure of Orion the Hunter. Interestingly, the constellation of Orion does connect back to the Great Sign of Revelation chapter 12. Detailed information on this subject is available here:

The appearance of the Hunter's moon on Halloween 2020 then becomes more significant. Will this coincide with the appearance of the antichrist?

Time will tell.
