There are 66 books in the Bible, and 66 chapters in the book of Isaiah. The 23rd verse of Isaiah chapter 66 reads (NIV):
23 "From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another, all mankind will come and bow down before me,” says the Lord. 24 'And they will go out and look on the dead bodies of those who rebelled against me; the worms that eat them will not die, the fire that burns them will not be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind.'"
Remember from previous posts that the prospective timeline for the Final Jubilee begins on an extended observance of the Festival of Trumpets, and concludes on the final Day of Atonement. In other words, it begins with a New Moon (Trumpets), and concludes with a type of Sabbath (Atonement). Truly by the conclusion of Daniel's 70th week, all mankind will bow before Jesus Christ. That a clue to this effect would appear in the 23rd verse of Isaiah chapter 66 is interesting, especially given the now past Great Sign of Revelation chapter 12 which occurred on September 23, 2017 (NIV):
"A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. 2 She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. 3 Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads. 4 Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth. The dragon stood in front of the woman who was about to give birth, so that it might devour her child the moment he was born. 5 She gave birth to a son, a male child, who 'will rule all the nations with an iron scepter.' And her child was snatched up to God and to his throne."
This imagery looks back to the birth of Jesus Christ during the Festival of Trumpets on September 11, 3 B.C., but also looks forward to the soon birth of the Body of Christ (the Church).
Returning to Isaiah chapter 66, we read (NIV):
“Before she goes into labor,
she gives birth;
before the pains come upon her,
she delivers a son.
8 Who has ever heard of such things?
Who has ever seen things like this?
Can a country be born in a day
or a nation be brought forth in a moment?
Yet no sooner is Zion in labor
than she gives birth to her children."
This verse confirms that the Body of Christ will be "born" before Daniel's 70th week begins. This will come as a surprise to Israel, who will then labor through the Tribulation period until Jesus Christ returns to end all dispute and begin His millennial reign. Reading further on, we find that:
"the hand of the Lord will be made known to his servants,
but his fury will be shown to his foes.
15 See, the Lord is coming with fire,
and his chariots are like a whirlwind;
he will bring down his anger with fury,
and his rebuke with flames of fire."
Most are unaware that a large hurricane threatened New York City on the morning of September 11, 2001:
Then in September 2017, as the Revelation 12 Sign appeared in the heavens, hurricanes Maria and Jose formed together in the Atlantic:
On a future date, Jesus Christ will return with "the clouds", which are the resurrected and transformed Saints (Revelation chapter 1 verse 7):
"Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen."
Before this event, the Body of Christ will be born into new bodies, and together in the air they will meet their Redeemer and enter the promised land as the Archangel Michael casts the accuser out (Revelation chapter 12):
7 "And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,
8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven.
9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him."
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
